"Make My Day" is an
enchanting tune. Quaint, off-beat, eccentric, jazzy, melancholy, camp,
sultry, sardonic , crafty, over the top-serious "Appraisal" opens with
a tack piano that reminds us of Lene Lovich. Does someone know who & what
we are talking about ? I mean in a layed back kind of vibe. Somewhere
between show tune & 20th century black & white drama "To Love A Woman" has
a breeze to it. But Erika is so intense all of the time, it makes me feel
dizzy "Love Force" begins
with deep bass synthesis which is real nice. Ambiance here is the clue
to slowing down the tempo of design & letting things traverse the space
time continuem that enhances the parameters & breadth of the work. This
different arrangement approach is a tangent for Erika that is nicely explored
