“Floating” has
an open aired aura complimented by the atmospheric Organ panorama of Steve
Lodder. Mike Outram’s tasteful electric guitar work is subtle & transfixing.
The free form flair of the piece at once lays a mood & ambiance that gazes
at the night time sonic sky “Inner Noise”
is a riveting eclectic work that emphasizes the Church Organ tone ; Contrastingly
set up against a flowing chromatic movement that melds Progressive Rock
& Fusion Jazz “White Elephant”
flows with the Cathedral effects of Keys counterpointed to atonal & half
step Lead Guitar playing. At moments one is reminded of some of Emerson,
Lake & Palmer’s audio forays. Yet Asaf Sirkis music contains more open
movement & less clutter from an arrangement standpoint Asaf Sirkis repeatedly
shakes the sonic foundations of modern Jazz & Fusion. Examples of this
phenomena are showcased in his first solo work from the mid nineties entitled
“One Step Closer” which features Kobi Arad on Keyboards & Piano & Gabi
Meyer on Bass ; Additionally , Asaf Sirkis recently has completed his
latest project titled “We Are Falling” For audio lovers
of Fusion Jazz we highly recommend that you check out Asaf Sirkis. Feast
your ears to some fine free floating chops in the international Fusion
arena |
