Ayelet’s Vox
delivery on her “InTernal-ExTernal project , is an sound transducer unto
itself ; Her performance is an instrument that shadows & counterpoints
melodic lines , in a completely unorthodox & enigmatic style all her own
“What’s Done
Is Done” is a hyper-extensional piece ; The melding of Trumpet married
with Ayelet’s voice is unparalleled. She performs the lead melodic line
simultaneously with the horn & the timbre variance between the two is
virtually non existent Ayelet at times
extends into an existential spoken word bridge , that leads through the
anarchic confusion of the mind , to a post modern beat-movement manifesto
of sorts. Noting her spoken word forays & musical explorations , it should
not be of surprise that she has worked with numerous key notables of the
musical form ; Among them Sir George Martin Ayelet Rose Gottlieb’s sonic vision is of a singular nature within the framework of art ; Which is life. Which is art. Right down to the semantic overtones of word derivation & nuance , her expression manifests itself ,of itself , to the awaiting outer world. “As I Lay” reflects
an atonal prowess Vox combined with Trumpet , Piano , upright Bass & Percussion
, that sways into a hybrid of cinematic retro blues meets free-form improvisational
paths Ayelet at times
displays an apparition-like quality that reminds one of Bjork ; Or should
we say that Bjork reminds one of Ayelet. The specter is largely a mute
point however, because incredulously enough, Ayelet Rose Gottlieb’s aural
enigma is more unfathomable than her Icelandic counterpart Aylet Rose Gottlieb
is an artist of many moods & inexplicable temperaments. A diversity of
styles swirl into an unknown region of the Interior soul that juxtapositions
itself to the external world of three dimensional manifestation Whether it be
the whimsical phantasmagoric journey of “Internal Autumn request”, Or
the Dada-esque value of “Brewing The Brews Of Distance ; Ayelet Rose Gottlieb
is an artistic enigma who beckons to be heard & experienced through her
synesthesia of audio-painted art |
